بررسی ارتباط متغیرهای دموگرافیک با افسردگی در بیماران سرطانی

مقدمه : سرطان، رویداد مهمی در زندگی هر فردی است که پیامدهای قابل توجهی را برای وی و خانواده بهمراه دارد. افسردگی، مهمترین پیامد روانی در این بیماران، اغلب موارد کمتر مورد توجه قرار می گیرد. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین ارتباط متغیرهای دموگرافیک با افسردگی در  بیماران سرطانی انجام گرفت.
روش: این مطالعه توصیفی همبستگی در سالهای 1392 تا 1393 انجام شد و نهایتاً 200 بیمار سرطانی مراجعه کننده به مرکز درمانی سیدالشهداء اصفهان با روش نمونه گیری آسان وارد مطالعه شدند. اطلاعات افراد در فرم مشخصات دموگرافیک و مقیاس افسردگی بک جمع آوری شد و با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS (با آمار توصیفی و کای دو) مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافته ها: یافته های پژوهش حاضر نشان داد که 38.5% از بیماران سرطانی، افسردگی خفیف و 27.5% از آنها افسردگی متوسط را تجربه نموده و تنها تعداد معدودی از بیماران (14%) دارای افسردگی شدید بودند. همچنین نتایج آزمون کای دو نشان داد که بیماران سرطانی که از میزان تحصیلات بالاتر برخوردار بودند و یا تعداد فرزندان بیشتری داشتند، میزان افسردگی بالاتری را داشتند.
 نتیجه گیری:شناخت عوامل خطر افسردگی در بیماران سرطانی، می تواند برای محققین و کادر بهداشتی ـ درمانی بویژه پرستاران جهت کمک به ارایه مداخلات روحی ـ روانی مناسب توسط آنها مفید باشد. پیشنهاد می گردد در همه مراکز درمانی مرتبط با سرطان، واحد بهداشت روان ایجاد گردد تا با آموزه های به روز در جهت کاهش آلام بیماران مساعدت نمایند.
