| Cancer is a chronic illness and its prevalence is high. Patients with cancer need different care such as palliative care for a long time. In this way doctors, nurses and paramedics provide care to these patients. Nurses support patients during hospitalization for diagnostic tests, surgeries, radiotherapy and chemotherapy and take the necessary care of them. Physicians and nurses also assist patients and their families in palliative care, pain relief, disease adaptation, spiritual wellbeing. Iranian journal of Cancer Care is published by Iranian Scientific Nursing Association with the support of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This journal focuses on latest findings of scientific research in the field of diagnosis, treatment, care, rehabilitation, etc. of cancer. It is hoped that this service could be able to relieve the pain and suffering of these patients and their families by providing scientific care. |
