فاکتورهای مؤثر بر افسردگی مرگ در مددجویان مبتلا به سرطان

مقدمه: زندگی با یک عامل تنش‌زای جدی مانند سرطان، به عنوان یک الگوی شناخته شده فعال مرتبط با مرگ و مردن شناخته شده است. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین میزان شیوع افسردگی مرگ و عوامل مرتبط با آن در مددجویان مبتلا به سرطان اجرا شد.
روش: در این مطالعه‌ی توصیفی- تحلیلی که در سال 1394 (مهر تا اسفند) انجام شد، 500 مددجو با تشخیص سرطان با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی ساده وارد مطالعه شدند. داده‌ها به کمک فرم مشخصات فردی  و مقیاس افسردگی مرگ جمع آوری شدند. رگرسیون خطی تک و چند متغیره با استفاده از نرم‌افزار 22 SPSS جهت بررسی ارتباط عوامل بالقوه با افسردگی مرگ در بیماران سرطانی استفاده شدند.
یافته ها: با توجه به نتایج مطالعه حاضر مشخص شد سن مردان (50/57-46/62:95 CI ؛16/15± 48/59) بیش از سن زنان (48/20-44/56 :95 CI؛ 14/24± 46/38) می‌باشد. میانگین نمره افسردگی مرگ در بین بیماران، بالاتر از چارک سوم بود. آنالیز رگرسیون خطی چند متغیره نشان داد که نمرات میزان درآمد (β=0/24، P<0/001)، عدم سابقه مصرف مواد مخدر (0/13=β =0/002, P) و مرحله سرطان (β=0/12 ,P= 0/005) پیش بینی کننده‌های مستقلی برای افسردگی مرگ در بیماران سرطانی بودند.
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به فراوانی بالای افسردگی در بیماران تحت مطالعه، اهمیت توجه و تمرکز بیشتر بر ارزیابی‌ها و مداخلات روان شناختی در این دسته از بیماران به ویژه در مرحله‌ی فعال بیماری و دوره‌های شیمی درمانی پررنگ‌تر می‌شود.
